How It All Started
.orgSource was founded by Sherry Budziak, a visionary who saw the potential for technology to empower associations—long before digital transformation became a buzzword.
Sherry’s journey began in the early ’90s, when she helped launch one of the first association websites. She later led the creation of a for-profit digital agency within an association, managing IT and pioneering digital strategy. Her success and forward-thinking approach made her a sought-after expert in strategy, innovation, and technology leadership.
But Sherry recognized a bigger challenge: technology alone wasn’t enough. Associations needed strategic leadership, cultural alignment, and a roadmap for change. That insight became the foundation for .orgSource—to help associations lead confidently in a time of disruption.
What We Do Today
As the digital landscape evolved, so did we. In 2010, .orgSource expanded by acquiring AssociationCIO, strengthening our capabilities in enterprise-level technology strategy for associations.
