About Sherry
Sherry Budziak is a visionary leader and a driving force in the association management industry. Her journey began at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), where she first discovered her passion for helping associations thrive. She then spent nine impactful years at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), where she served as the Associate Executive Director. In this role, she managed their for-profit company and oversaw web services and IT, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors.
In 2005, Sherry founded .orgSource, a consulting firm dedicated to helping associations navigate disruption and complex environments to achieve their missions. Under her leadership, .orgSource has served hundreds of associations, driving innovation and strategic growth. Her consultancy focuses on strategy, operations, and culture, transforming organizations through her drive and passion.
Recognizing the need for a collaborative community, Sherry co-founded .orgCommunity in 2015. .orgCommunity connects association executives to unique educational experiences, fostering a network of leaders who are shaping the future of the association landscape. Through .orgCommunity, Sherry has also established several women mastermind groups and the new Women in Association Leadership (WIAL) LinkedIn group, providing a space for women to support each other both personally and professionally. She is a passionate connector of people.
Sherry is a coach, a well-respected keynote speaker, and a co-author of two influential books on disruption, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. She is currently writing her third book to be published in Fall 2024. Additionally, she hosts the popular podcast "Association 4.0," where she explores the future of associations and innovative leadership strategies.
